DRESSED FOR SUCCESS !
A big thank you is in order to the vast majority of parents and pupils for their overwhelming support for our code of dress.
The improvement  has been noted not just by the school community, but by the whole town.
We are pleased to report that  have received numerous comments from members of the public and others about how smart our pupils are looking these days.
As always there is a small minority who try to 'do their own thing'. We will continue to work with parents to ensure that all of our young people are 'dressed for success'.
Both teachers and pupils report a better attitude to work and a more settled approach in class.

ELECTION TIME FOR SCHOOL BOARD?

Irvine Royal Academy has an active and supportive School Board.
Every two years some members of the Board are eligible for election.
All parents should now have received a 'data check' form, which is the first step in any possible election process.
Nominations for vacancies on the Board close shortly.
Only if there are more nominations than vacancies will there need to be an election.
If this is the case, the school will contact parents, election addresses will be published and sent to all homes.
There would then follow a secret ballot in order to elect the required number of parents.
